Funeral Service on 3200 W 15th Avenue, 219-885-5529, with a 4 p.m. Dedication; visitation for an hour before services Sunday at the church; memorials to the family or Powell-Coleman Funeral Home.

Uncle Jessie is survived by his Great-great Nieces Linda McCarter-Dix, Roslyn McCarter-Harbour, Rosie Gunn, and Janice McCarter-Knight. He leaves behind a legacy of Christian Faith and a family that is lost for words. At the age of 98 Uncle Jessie moved around like a twenty-year old athlete. His death was very unexpected -- He will live in our hearts and souls forever.
