Lyle passed away October 28, 2017in Millcreek Utah after a long battle with his health. Lyle was born in Paul Idaho to Jesse and Margaret Harper Platts. Lyle was a good kindhearted man once you got through the tough guy exterior. He lived to work. He loved underground mining and driving truck. Retirement was a struggle. Even in the end he wanted to get back to driving. He lived his life his way. He was a guy who would go to the ends of the earth for you if you were his friend. He will be greatly missed by many.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, and brother Gordon (Dick) Platts. He leaves behind his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many others who love him.
