Place of birth: Hanover County, Virginia
Religious affiliation: Christian
Georgia was an eager 11-year old. Sadly, she committed suicide on December 11th, 2016, just over a month before her 12th birthday. She claimed, in the note she wrote, that she couldn’t take it anymore. She had a rough time in middle school, and self-harmed on several occasions. She also had thoughts of running away from home. She is dearly missed by her parents and two younger brothers.
To the family of Georgia Carter, I am very sorry to hear about the tragic loss of your loved one and wish to express my condolences. I cannot imagine the great pain and sorrow you are feeling during this very difficult time. It is my sincere hope you find comfort in knowing that God has promised to "swallow up death forever" (Isaiah 25:8 NWT), and that he will resurrect our dear loved ones who have passed away. John 5:28.
With empathy please accept my condolence for the loss of your dear loved one Georgia Carter. I could only imagine your pain and sorrow. Suicide a worldwide problem, should not be one of life’s choices, this leaves untold pain and questions for the ones you leave behind since suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. The Bible tells us at Proverbs 15:22-‘There is accomplishment through many advisers.’ May the God of tender mercies and comfort help you in your grief and recovery. 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4
