Edwin Jameson Richmond was born during a snowstorm. His parents, Claudette and Emory Richmond, knew that he was going to be a handful from the very beginning. His younger years were spent in a city that shared his last name with him. As he grew older and expanded his horizons, Edwin, affectionately known as Eddie by most of his peers, he came to the realization that he wanted more than his life in the city. He travelled to West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio in search of something new. He eventually settled back down in Richmond with his wife, Arden Jewell Pick. They had two children together, Joseph Harper and Jeremy Wade.Edwin is survived by his wife and a daughter by another woman whom he met before his marriage to Arden. His two sons perished alongside him in the car accident. We will all remember him as a family man, and a loving father.May the heavens hold and protect you until we can see you again.
