Charles Gordon Palmer Sr. passed away in his home on September 8th, 2016 in Midland, MI. He was 80 years old. Chuck was born on August 11, 1936. He married Carol Janet Bowman in 1955. Chuck and Carol lived in a multiple locations throughout their life. Chuck worked at GM for 11 year and was proud to serve as Brant, MI Chief of Police. In St. Charles, Chuck was involved with Jaycees and coaching Little League baseball. He traveled throughout the United States, along with many foreign countries during his life on earth. Chuck and Carol raised three boys and a girl who remember him for his graciousness, unconditional love. Chuck is survived by his wife Carol, sons Charles Gordon Palmer Jr. (Deborah), Edwin James Palmer, Robert Alan Palmer, and his daughter Bethany Ann Loney (Charley), multiple grandchildren and great children, five brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by his father Edwin James Palmer, mother Eva Henrietta McCann, and step-father Raymond McCann.
