Carol Mae Blumenberg, 70, dies Sunday, Jan. 15, at St. John Hospital with her family by her side. Carol was born May 18, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois. In 1965 graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in nursing. She enlisted in the U.S Army Nurse Corp that same year and serve in the Philippines and San Diego until being honorably discharged in 1968.
