Barbara Jean Bylsma

Barbara Jean Bylsma was born in Mt Vernon Washington February 13, 1933  She departed this life March 23rd 2019, she was 86  Her first job was with Pacific NW Bell as a telephone operator.  Married Stanley R Graham in 1952 and bought a house in Shoreline Wa.  She went on to work in retail for several years.  Divorced in 1968 and a few years later married Jack Pryor, they were married 3 years before Jack passed of cancer.  Around 1975 while working at the Lucky Grocery store in Aurora Village she became acquainted with the Grandma Cookie salesman after he repeatedly used HER checkout line to buy “snacks”.  HIs name was Pat Bylsma, they married in July 1976.  Pat was the love of her life!  They loved to bowl, play cards or any games that someone brought to game night.  They loved to camp using Pat’s brothers motorhome, taking their grandchildren on all kinds of adventures.  Barbara and Pat were married until 1991 when Pat was lost to a heart attack.  Barbara loved children, having only 1 of her own was thrilled that Pat had 3 AND a granddaughter Jessica.  She taught 5 year olds at the churches fellowship program for children.
