Sandy Lilly Kelly, 72, of Plattsburgh, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday November 15 after a short battle with breast cancer. Sandy was predeceased by her mother Leota as well as her father James and her brother Peter. Sandy was born in Glens Falls on May 17, 1945, and graduated from Minerva Central. After High School she attended Plattsburgh State University and remained there until the time of her passing. Sandy loved spending time with her family, she enjoyed knitting, reading, as well as participating in the various clubs she was involved in, those that were close will always remember her wish to be called “Lilly”. Sandy is survived by her brother Mike, and sister Debbie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family asks that donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in lieu of flowers. There will be a private ceremony held by the family on Friday November 24th. Friends may contact her brother or sister for more information.
