A time to be born...Mrs Sally Grafton was born April 28, 1919 to the late Jimmie & Hattie Cooper in Raymond, Mississippi. She was the 2nd youngest child of four children, Sister Nelly Mae, brother Woodrow and sister Bessie who preceded her in death. rnrnA time to love...Sister Sally was united in marriage to the late Roosevelt Grafton in Clarksdale, Mississippi. This union was blessed with four children. Daughter, Edna preceded her in death.rnrnA time to be saved...Sally confessed Christ at an early age and became a member of Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where she has been a faithful member for years, As a member of Chapel Hill Sally attended Sunday School, worship services, bible classes and she was also a member of the senior choir and the missionary group.rnrnA time to enjoy life...Helping other gave Sally much joy along with sewing and cooking those big meals. Each day she would call her sister, Nelly to talk and they would always discuss what was on the menu for that day along with other things. Among those special hobbies, Sally worked at the JoAnn Shop in Clarksdale, Mississippi. She also sewed for her daughter\'s family business Watson\'s Upholstry. She also enjoyed traveling. rnrnA time to die...on Saturday, a \"faithful soldier\" joined her heavenly father at 8:35 a.m.rnrnHer legacy will live on in the life of her family. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving grandchildren Rebecca Tribble, Johnny Grafton, Barbara Johnson, Willie Watson and Vivian (Nathaniel) Hudson. Great grandchildren: Tamara (Derrick) Kennard, Rico Watson, Johnny Grafton, Myra (Nathaniel) Grafton. Regina Buckles, Herman Watson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. rn
