Roderick Lloyd Knaggs II- born in Piqua, Ohio, son of Evelyn and Roderick Knaggs Sr, passed away on Monday, March 26th at Bethesda North Hospital in Blue Ash, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Regina Knaggs of Mason, Ohio. He is also survived by his brother and sister, James and Carolyn Knaggs of New Jersey and Linda and William Mangas of South Carolina. Children April Martin, Roderick Knaggs (Connie), Robert Knaggs (Rebecca), Harold Knaggs, Erin Sandalbach (Michael), Heather McFeely (Ray), Crystal Flaherty (Rick), John Shepherd (Kim), and Benjamin Matchett. He has several grand-children and great-grandchildren. Roderick is a Vietnam veteran and spent 8 years in the United States Air Force. He was a Sergeant and a B-52 Crew Chief. After his enlistment he went to work for Bunkeramo, Ohio State University, Mariott and Crothall as the Director of Environmental Services. He took a great amount of pride in his work, and enjoyed living all around the United States. He spent some time in service with the Salvation Army. Roderick enjoyed listening to music, especially on vinyl records,and played the coronet, trumpet and fluegelhorn. He liked listening to inspirational commentaries by Chuck Missler. He was an avid Conservative and loved to talk about politics. You could frequently find him in his favorite chair watching FOX news.
