Robert “Bob” Hugh Phillips was born July 12, 1938 in Abbott, Texas. He passed away December 22, 2013.
He graduated from Crozier Tech School in Dallas, served his country in the US Navy and was a driver for the Army Air Force Exchange Services, until his retirement. He was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father Jessie Elbert Phillips, his mother Ola Motley Phillips and his
sister Shirley Marie Phillips Rooney.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Patricia, of Troy, Texas; daughters, Karen Humbert and husband Chris, and Cheryl Phillips, all of Troy, and Kelly Morgan and husband Anthony, of Hewitt, Texas; sons Patrick Phillips and Robert T. Phillips, both of Troy, seven grandchildren (Amanda Phillips of Italy, Texas, John Phillips and fiancee Casandra Bradley of Waco, Texas and Todd Phillips of Temple, Texas, Nicholas and Jessica Humbert of Troy, Texas and Phillip and Andrew Morgan of Hewitt, Texas) and seven great-grandchildren (Connor and Nevyn Fair of Waco, Texas, Wyatt, Faith and Grace Phillips of Temple, Texas, Ariana Phillips of Troy, Texas and Ember Arrington of Italy, Texas).
