Place of birth: Amsterdam, NL

Paul Kist, 66, died November 26, 2014 in Ontario, California.
Born December 31, 1947 in Amsterdam, NL, he was the only child of Henry and Dina Kist. The Kist Family immigrated to the U.S. in 1956 moving to La Verne, California. Paul graduated from Bonita High School in 1966, before going on to receive his Degree in Business from Cal Poly, Pomona.
In 1976, Paul married his wife, Cora, and moved to Chino, where they have resided since.
Paul had a passion for music, and loved being a drummer. He spent many years playing with a band called “The Answer” before leaving to work in the Defense Industry as a Pricing Analyst. In retirement, he worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Chino Valley Unified School District.
Paul enjoyed spending time with his family camping in Morro Bay, and was always proud to tell people he was a Dutchman.
He is survived by his son, Adrian “A.K.” Kist of Rancho Cucamonga and his wife Cora Kist of Chino.
