Michele L. Cowell

Michele L. Cowell departed this life on October 28, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her mother Wanda Jean Cowell, her sister Toni Cowell Johnson, and her nephew Fred Johnson. She is survived by her husband Kyle Stumbaugh, son Michael Cowell, daughter Caitlin Cowell Lawson, John and Jan Stumbaugh, Jim and Jean Stumbaugh, Keith and Robbin Stumbaugh, and Mike and Kay Stumbaugh Rudolph.

Michele was a mother, spouse, friend, and giver who spent much of her recent years in dedicated service to Soldiers and Sailors through outreach, and advocacy. She gave her all to this cause and was a vocal advocate for treatment of PTSD andSuicide prevention. She stood by numerous military families as they grieved   of their child, father, or mother in the course of war or from PTSD related causes. She did whatever she could to brighten the lives of many service men and women and their families.

Michele will be missed by many but her spirit lives on in all who knew her as she rests peacefully in the arms of our Lord in paradise.
