Mary Ruth Lamb was born on November 7, 1944, to Mary and Albert Lamb. She had 9 brothers and sisters. Later after her father Albert died, her mother married Charles Harriman who also had 9 children and they met in Sand Springs, Ok. Mary Ruth Lamb met the love of her life, Charles Harger, while going to Charles Page High School and soon after graduation got married at the young age of 20. Charles and Mary Harger had three girls and one boy: Sharleen, Teresa, Jessica and Charles Mathew “Jason”. All of Mary and Charles’ children grew up and went through Charles Page High School. Mary was blessed with eight grandchildren from Sharleen and three grandchildren from Jessica and one grandchild from Jason. She was then blessed with eight great-grandchildren. Mary loved flowers of all kinds, butterflies, and Angels. Mary Ruth Lamb Harger is survived by Charles Faye Harger, Sharleen Renee Mehemed, and Teresa Annette Gilbert. Charles Mathew “Jason Harger.
Funeral Notice Detail
Mary Ruth Harger died from Stage 4 Renal cancer in her kidneys, cancer of the liver, lungs, and bones while peacefully sleeping around 2:15 am Tuesday, April the 4th, 2017 while in the care of Mercy Hospice in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Her wish was to be cremated. She will be available to be seen for approximately two days at Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Arkansas. We will be holding a Memorial Service in Mary's Honor on April 22nd, 2017, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
