Luis Steven Sanchez

Luis was born in Salinas, California on July 24, 1974. Luis was one of the most caring and loving people I have ever known.  Loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is our eternal angel. Luis enjoyed reading fantasy and science fiction novels.  He loved to draw and sing.  Computers, music, movies, video games, anime, wrestling, and cooking and most of all his cat, BamBam, were his passion. He was a good listener, always there when you needed someone to talk to. He cared about others health before his own.  Luis resided in San Antonio, Texas for the past 4 years. Grateful to have shared in his life are his cat BamBam; mother, Donna Carroll; step father, Oscar Reyna; grandfather James Carroll; sister Patricia Garcia and her sons, Matthew and Jason; numerous aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grand mother Barbara Carroll (Grandma Jean); great grandmother Dorothy Gonzales (Grandma Dot); uncles, Gavino  (Manual) Jimenez; aunts Beverly Chavez and Velma Jimenez. Per his wishes, he will be cremated and his ashes will be scattered in California at a later date. A Celebration of life will be held in Salinas, California on October 22, 2016 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM at the following location: Harvestlands Church 327 Pajaro St. Salinas CA 93901 Blessings by Pastor John will be held at 11:30 AM. Luis will be missed but will forever live on in our hearts.
