Linda Renfro-Dufner, 62, of Briggs, Texas lost her courageous battle with cancer on Monday Dec. 4th, 2017. Linda was born in Austin Texas to parents Jerry & Twillie Alexander. Linda graduated McCallum High School – Austin. She married her first love Rick Renfro in 1975, they had 2 children, son Landon and daughter Kristin. Unfortunately Rick passed suddenly in 1992. Strength and courage that Linda lived with was remarkable. Linda married her last love William “Rock” Dufner in 1999. LInda Lived in the Austin / Leander area until moving to Briggs in 2005. Linda loved her family and friends unconditionally, she loved telling stories, she had so many stores to tell and she was so good at it. She had a contagious smile and laughter that could fill a room. Her faith was undeniable. Her greatest joy was earning the title “Mimi”, her granddaughters Kaylee and Harper Lyn were her pride and joy. We love you and miss you so much Mom. You are forever in our hearts.

Linda is survived by her loving husband William "Rock" Dufner , Son Landon Renfro and wife Melinda, Daughter Kristin Renfro, her granddaughters Kaylee and Harper Lyn, all of Briggs Texas; two sisters Dorothy Paul (Austin) and Martha Lane (Buda). She is preceded in death by her first husband Rick Renfro, her parents and brother. In Lieu of flowers the family would love donations to made in her memory to the following: Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center or Briggs Volunteer Fire Department
