Keith Michael Bauer
Place of birth: New Jersey
Keith Michael Bauer, 38, of Palm Beach County Florida, and formally from Philadelphia, PA and Hunterdon County, New Jersey entered into eternal rest on Saturday September 23rd, 2017. The son of Frances M. Karol Bauer and William J Bauer, he is survived by his loving sister, Lori Warden and his father William J Bauer, and nephew Tyler Warden.Keith lived his early years in Sergeantsville New Jersey where he attended Delaware Township School and graduated from Hunterdon Central Regional High School. Keith lived out a majority of his adult years as a resident of Philadelphia, PA where he became an avid fan of all things Philly, especially their sports teams. He always proudly displayed his Phillies hats. He also loved his job as a bartender at Copa in Philly where he met many great friends. He worked many years in construction for various companies and as a private contractor. Most recently, Keith had moved to Lake Worth, Florida where he became active in the recovery community. He went from resident to house manager at Cameron Villas, a recovery facility for men. He went on to work for other recovery facilities, such as A New Start, but Cameron always held a dear place in his heart as it does for all who knew him in recent years. Cameron was the chosen site for his memorial in Florida and they did a beautiful job commemorating him and his life. While living in Florida, Keith learned to actually relax from time to time and took up fishing. His favorite spot was in Jupiter, FL where some of his ashes were released in a private farewell. He could often be seen enjoying a cigar in a hot tub, another favorite pastime of his, or playing on the beach with his beloved dog, Harley. His favorite pastime, however, was mentoring and assisting those around him in recovery. He dedicated himself to helping anyone who needed him even if it was simply lending his ear. He will be missed by many.
