Many knew him as ‘Pappa-Daddy’, his first grandchild, Jon, around 1 and just beginning to speak called him ‘papa’s daddy’ as best he could. We all have lovingly addressed him as such since. He is survived by wife Margaret 30years, three children Andre Philpot of Atlanta Ga Josh Philpot ,Ashely herring, (son in law Lee Herring) of Marietta, and his five grandkids.
