James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and enjoyed life even when it became difficult in his later years.  He enjoyed his family and was loyal always helping family and putting them ahead of his needs.  We all will miss his many great qualities.

Funeral Notice Detail

James I. R. Harmon, 84 years of age, born February 6, 1932 in Greenville Tennessee, died November 15, 2016 in Rockford Illinois.  Veteran of the U.S.A.F.  Preceded in death by both Parents James T. Harmon and Beatrice V. (Lowery). Survived by his second wife Wyoma (Debbie) Harmon and her son James Svestka.  He will be sadly missed by his, sisters Eleanor, Joan, Barbara and Carolyn.  Daughter Darlene Rade (Ed), and her children Joseph (Casey), Jeffrey (Lisa) and two great grandsons Payton and Tyler, daughter Tina Harmon (Jerry Allen), and her children, Azalea, Acacia, Jacob, as well as many other relatives and friends.  Graveside memorial will be held at noon on Monday November 28, 2016 at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery located at 6202 Charles St, Rockford, IL 61108.
