Gretchen Viglione

Family and friends are grieving the loss of Gretchen Maureen Viglione. Gretchen was the loving daughter of Karen M. Lockyer, who preceded her in death, and Douglas Lockyer, who survives, of Middlebury, CT. She was the loving mother of two children; Samantha M. Viglione, who survives, of Hershey, PA., and Robert M. Peploe, who has joined Gretchen in peaceful rest on November 29th, 2015, of Hatfield, PA She is also survived by two sisters; Nicole Lockyer and her fiancee Ricky Rodriguez of Waterbury, CT, and Karen Jamieson and her husband Peter Jamieson of Carlton, PA. Gretchen also leaves one granddaughter, Brooke L. Peploe and four nephews; Brandon Young, Blake Rodriguez, Jason Jamieson, and Peter Jamieson.

Gretchen, a resident of Hatfield, PA, loved seeing her students every morning as she transported them to school with First Students, Inc. Prior to residing in Hatfield, Gretched lived in Gap, PA. and Woodbridge, CT. Gretchen was a 1986 graduate of Amity Senior High School in Woodbridge, CT. She loved spending time with her children, camping, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral Notice Detail

Cremation was provided by Volpe Funeral Home of Norristown, PA. A joint memorial service for Gretchen and her son Robert will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 9:00am on the campus of Milton Hershey School at the Dearden House 109 McCorkel Road Hershey, PA 17033.
