George (Tommy) Montgomery

George Thomas (Tommy) Montgomery, 53, of Edinburgh passed away February 14, 2023 at his residence due to Complications Of Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease. He was born on August 31, 1969 at Johnson County Memorial Hospital to the late Barbara (Alford) and Everett Montgomery. Tommy was an adventurous man that loved to explore the hidden outdoor treasures of Indiana. He was able to share some of these adventures with his son Jonathan. Tommy always had a soft spot for cats and enjoyed spoiling them. He grew up in Greenwood, Indiana and graduated from Center Grove High School in 1988. Tommy had lifelong friends and made more friends when he became a forklift driver for NSG Pilkington about ten years ago. George is survived by his son Jonathan Thomas Montgomery; two sisters, Vickie Leeper, and Wanda Montgomery; six nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Everett Montgomery; and two brothers, Johnny Montgomery, and Clifford Montgomery. There will be a Celebration Of Life at a beautiful place where his family and friends can come together to honor his memory at a later date.
