Falelupe Tonumaipea was born on May 11th 1956 in the village of Vaiola, Savaii, Samoa to Muaina muatuauto and Fa’aliga Tuilagi. She was the second to the youngest in her family of 13 and was loved by her family very much. She attended school at her local elementary with her older siblings and attended the LDS owned church school in Vaiola, Savaii. After graduating there she was called to serve as a LDS missionary in New Zealand for 1 and a half years. She served her heavenly father with love and devotion, committed to strengthening his work there, she was extended an additional 3 months before returning home to her loving and waiting family. She fell in love with how beautiful the atmosphere was in New Zealand that she decided to move there afterwards and stayed with uncle Iosua for 2 years before she moved back to Samoa to be closer with her older siblings. There in her home villiage, she would meet her eternal companion, Faifaga Tonumaipea, and her work would begin to fulfill her patriarchal blessing of having a wonderful and gracious family. She worked as a elementary school teacher for Aasu for 5 years. She then became a high school teacher at Vaiola high and college, where she stayed for 10 years before she retired due to illnesses.She became a full-time house wife and mother to her 6 kids, She and faifaga had their first born, Viva in April of 1977, the family would grow to 6, with the birth of their youngest, Leroy in July of 1991. They would than recieve a spiritual calling as Faifaga became the stake president for the LDS church stake Vaiola samoa savaii stake in 1998 and held that sacred calling until 2004. They received a calling to serve as couple missionaries to Papua New Guinea, set to enter the end of this year, but god called this remarkable servent home to continue her service in the next life on November 12th, 2017. Falelupe is survived by her husband of more than 20 years, Faifaga, their 6 children, Viva and her husband Charles and their 2 kids, constance and faith. Victor and Sulipapa and their kids, Jr, fagalilo and faiva. Moli and her husband Dennis, Noelani and her husband Toeolaina and their kids, Toe jr, and lupelele. Raymond and his wife jennifer and their kids, jason and jasmine. Leroy and his wife Paese.
