Elizabeth Marin
Place of birth: None
Elizabeth Marin was born in Takoma Park, MD but moved to southwest Missouri at a young age. She grew up in rural areas and always enjoyed living in the country more than living in town. She married Aarron Bittick of Carthage, Missouri on February 24th, 2015 and adopted his 9 year old daughter, Izzabella. She graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a BA in Psychology in May of 2015. Elizabeth and Aarron welcomed Sebastian Alexander Bittick into the world on December 15th, 2015. While she was taking care of her children, Elizabeth could often be found outdoors. She also enjoyed reading lengthy novels by her favorite author, Stephen King, though she did not read his books out loud to the children. Her love of knowledge could be seen every day in the way she tried to teach her daughter the ways of the world and how to use sarcasm properly and her son how to laugh. When she was not overwhelmed with school and work, she enjoyed new experiences and traveled extensively. Most recently, she went to Chicago where the highlight of the trip was not the conference by the Midwest Psychological Association, but spending the day at the Adler Planetarium with her family.
Before her death, Elizabeth was active in many organizations that promoted humanitarianism. In lieu of flowers, she asks that contributions to local shelters be made in her memory.
