Dorothy King was the widow of Maurice King, stepmother of Armond and Eugene King, and companion to Anthony Watkins.She was from Silver Springs, MD but lived many years in Chicago before retiring to Las Vegas.She was a bookkeeper at the Michael Reese Blood Bank and later worked for Nortran and Pace in a similar capacity.Dorothy was a member of the Life Community Church and sung soprano in the choir.

Dorothy's health began a gradual decline after she moved to Las Vegas in 2009.She passed away February 8, 2017 after a long illness.
