– Donna Heil age 56, died yesterday while on business travel
Mrs. Heil is preceded in death by her father George. She is survived by her husband Michael, two children Brian and Jennifer Sormberger and her sister Joan.
A mother, a wife and a business owner Mrs Heil was an energetic individual with an expansive career in aerospace and electronic manufacturing. she has written and published numerous papers on manufacturing processes and systems throughout her career. She owned several factories both here in the US and overseas. She resided in Texas for the majority of her life but was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Arizona where she earned a degree in Chemical Engineering and later a Masters degree in Business. She remarried and moved to California with her husband Michael, where she loved to ski and hike. She loved animals and spent much of her time volunteering with the SPCA or the Red Cross. She will be sadly missed.
Funeral services will be private and held at the discretion of the family in Arizona. The family asks that all those that wish to pay their condolences to donate to the SPCA or Red Cross her two favorite charities.
