Danker, Deanna Grace Miller, 78, passed away peacefully September 11, 2016, from complications of dementia. De was born in South Dayton, NY in 1938 to Charles and Beatrice Miller. She was a proud mother of 3 children to whom she gave so much and who will carry her memory forever; daughter – Susan (Mike) Mathews & 2 girls, Kierstyn and Rachel, son – Brian (Julie) & 4 girls Jennifer (Ryan), Kristine, Elizabeth and Samantha and son – Kevan (Tonia) & 2 boys Jahred and Ethan. De adored her Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren – Caden, Adalyn and Ophelia, and enjoyed them so much! They were the light of her life. She is predeceased by her parents, sister Marza (Marion) Fricano, brothers Bob (Peg) Miller and Chuck (Rose) Miller and in laws Phillip (Onnolee) Danker. She is survived by her children/families, her brother- Jeff (Linda) Miller, and many nieces, nephews and extended families that she called her own. De was very active and enjoyed serving others with her church families at McLean Community Church and Penfield United Methodist Church. During her life, Deanna completed a business school program in Buffalo, NY and worked as a bookkeeper for 2 years. She stayed at home with her children when they were young and then went back to work, working for 22+ years for Pall Trinity Micro in Cortland, NY, retiring in 2001. After her retirement she moved to Penfield and Rochester to be close to her family. Deanna worked hard every day for her family. A memorial service and light refreshments will be held Saturday, September 24th at 1 pm at the Penfield United Methodist Church, 1795 Baird Rd, Penfield, NY 14526. She requested no flowers please. Donations may be made in Deanna’s name to either of her churches.
