Charlotte E. Jordan was Born Charlotte E. Archuletta in Chama, NM on March 5th 1946 to her parents Jose Delurdes Archuletta and Dorotea Amelia Cruz. After a long battle with ALS Jesus called her home on September 20, 2020. She is survived by sisters Oniva Neal, and Mary Bazan, sons Bill and wife Corey, Jim and wife Stephanie, Marty and wife Jenny, and daughter Muriel; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
At Charlotte’s request there will be no ceremony held. This memorial is created in place so we can honor her memory. Please add any condolences, pictures and or light a candle. Charlotte was one of 5 daughters born to her parents. She met her would be husband Bill Jordan while she was waitressing in Chama, NM. They married on Jan 29, 1966 and went on to have many adventures moving to Walden, Co, Odessa, TX, Vail ,Co, Gypsum, Colorado and eventually settling in Omaha, NE. Together they raised 4 awesome kids :).
Charlotte was a Avon sales lady, Housekeeper and a Homemaker. She loved Jesus, Cooking, Gardening, Crocheting, Music, Antiques, Games & spending time with family and friends. She was full of life & Hospitality. She always sacrificed her own needs for the good of her family. She made everything special, decorating for every holiday and cooking huge meals, everyone who knew her or came to visit was always treated as family. She always made sure all of us had everything we needed.
Charlotte will be remembered as a selfless and giving wife, mother, sister and friend, an amazing cook and a strong determined person who even in her battle with ALS still found the strength to smile, love, and look to the future with hope. We will miss her tremendously and always have a reason to smile and Thank God she was in our lives. Thank you for everything mom, love you more than words. See you and Dad again in Heaven!
