Carol Ann Behrmann, 62, passed away on June 22, 2016 at her home in Irving, TX. Carol was born on Feb. 6, 1954 in Minneapolis, MN to Charles and Margaret (Robertson) Walker. She grew up on a farm in rural South Dakota and during her teenage years the family moved to Iowa where they ultimately settled in the town of Ida Grove. Carol graduated from Ida Grove High School in 1972. Carol married David John Behrmann on Apr 23, 1972 and had 2 children, Michele Renee and John Michael. They lived and raised their children in Vermillion, SD where Carol also received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota. She received her Doctorate in Computer Science; Enterprise Information Systems from Colorado Technical University in 2009. She moved to Irving, TX in Oct. 2011. Carol loved working with computers and had a passion for teaching. Most recently she was a Sr Business Analyst for Citi Bank in Texas. Carol loved spending time with her friends, family and her precious dogs, Koko and Brandi. Grateful to have shared in her life are her daughter, Michele (Tim) Zuiderhof; her son, John Behrmann; grandchildren, Kyle and Kira Zuiderhof; her mother, Margaret Walker; brothers, David (Jeri) Walker, James Walker, Dale Walker and Brian Walker; her sister, Della (Jeff) Holmes ; the father of her children, David Behrmann; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Walker and sisters, Joyce Walker and Karen (Walker) Baumberger.
