We celebrate the life and love of our beloved Billy Rios, born Guillermo Alberto Rios Ramirez in the Comarca Lagunera of Torreon, Coahuilla, Mexico. Billy was 41 when the King of Kings called his spirit him to his KIngdom on Sunday, February 9th, 2020. Billy was the second born child to Ernestina Ramirez and Guillermo Rios Salas and was welcomed to a loving family as the first paternal grandson on Saturday, June 3rd, 1978. He was a first generation migrant and enjoyed visiting his childhood homelands of Lerdo, Durango throughout his lifetime. Billy was a kind soul, caring son, tender brother, loyal friend, and a loving father. He lived a fulfilling life defined by his own terms and loved making others laugh. His smile was unforgettable, and he shared many joyful, heartfelt, and melancholy moments with those that he shared his life with. He is survived by his beautiful daughter, Sofia K. Rios, precious mother Ernestina Ramirez (Alberto Jesus Perez), benevolent father Guillermo Rios Salas (Elsa Aguirre), sisters Laura K. Rios-Ramirez (Alvaro Ramirez), Dinora Ramirez (Kevin Hernandez), Marisol Rios, brother Guillermo Rios, nieces and nephews Azalea, Devin, Huitzi, Liam, Ketzal, Adrian, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved dog, Harley. He is now held in the light of our Creator God alongside his cherished paternal abuelitos, Francisco “Kiko” Rios, Marina “Popitita” Salas de Rios, maternal abuelos, Porfiria “Pila” Ramirez, Ramon Ramirez, uncle Raymundo Treviño, cousins Reynaldo and Ruben Treviño.
