Place of birth: Whiteville, NC

On November 18, 2018, Earl made an abrupt and sudden departure from this earthly existence.  This should not come as a surprise as he was known for being abrupt.  Earl was known by many names such as Earl, EW, “the Wardster”, and a few that are unpublishable.  In Wilmington and surrounding area restaurants he was known as simply “The knife man”. He was born on March 9, 1949 to the late Earl E. Ward, Sr and Barbara Child Ward.  This may come as a surprise as he regularly shaved 10 years off when reporting his age. His interests included cooking, fishing, all kids of music and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
