Sherry was a gifted and talented artist- painting the mascot on Southgate High School’s gymnasium floor in Southgate, California her Alma Mater. She enjoyed painting many subject matters, especially her beloved Golden Retrievers. She blessed her family with many works of art and paintings to cherish. She enjoyed discovering new knowledge of her family and ancestors through many hours studying genealogy. Through her genealogy she touched many lives and met many wonderful people. She told her family many stories that would have been lost and kept detailed records for future generations. She was also an amazing cook and loved preparing delicious meals and baking for her loved ones.

Sherry’s passion was raising and showing golden retrievers. Her dogs have touched many lives across the United States and her much beloved golden “Layla” passed the year prior.

Sherry was a beautiful, multi talented, wonderful woman and will be greatly missed by her family. She was a devoted Christian, very confident she would be in heaven waiting for those she loved.

Mom, thank you for all you taught me and the kids. I love and miss you every day and will see you again!
I think of you daily and you live in our daily lives.
You are gone, but not forgotten beautiful lady.
