Jonathan Christian Crane II was better known as John, Dad, or his favorite Grandpa and lived his life to the fullest. He was drafted into the air force and served two tours in Vietnam fighting for his country earning the title of Sergeant. When he returned to the states he played bass in various bands, which opened for acts such as Hall and Oats. He later married and fathered three children Jonathan III, Jason, and Jillian. His hobbies included reading, fishing, watching football (Go Eagles), and listening to music. His favorite holiday was Thanksgiving because he always looked forward to the pies that were served. John was a loving and caring man who did anything he could to help others. He always brought a smile to the faces of his grandchildren and told wonderful stories about the amazing life he lived. Sergeant Jonathan Christian Crane II is survived by two sisters Carol, Betty Jean, one brother David, three children Jonathan III, Jason, Jillian, and three grandchildren, Jonathan IV, Timothy, and Emilia his little pip. “Life is just what happens to you, while you are busy making other plans” Lennon, John.

Funeral Notice Detail

John will be laid to rest on April 10, 2015 at Washington Crossing Cemetary with full military honors. Please arrive by 11:15 in order to sign in. Service will begin at 11:30 promptly.
