Mr. Leroy Carter was born August 16, 1959 in Chicago, IL. Leroy was married to Catherine Carter, the mother of his children, Larry Lightning, Charles Levy, Latashia Lightning, Angela Gunn and Traci Carter. He felt much love and respect for Angela Haskin, whom sons were like his own children Johnathan and Tauri Haskin. Leroy spent many years with Shirley, the woman he cherished and loved deeply. Leroy was a kind hearted, generous, caring person. He may not have much but what he did have he was willing to give and always willing to lend a hand. Leroy was loved by everyone he came in contact with. His memory will live on.

Charles Levy, Latashia Lightning, Traci Carter of Kalamazoo, MI. Angela Gunn of Pendleton, IN. Johnathan Haskin and Tauri Haskin of Madison, WI. A host of grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents Mary Carter and Leroy Graham, sisters Mary Sargent-Carter, Barbara Ward, Pearlin Carter, and Dorothy Nix, brother James Carter and granddaughter Destiny Lightning.
