Place of birth: None

XXXOOO
Jesse J Rash, Father, Grandfather, Brother, mechanic, fisherman, miner, builder, and just a jack of all trades, died on Tuesday, Aug 25th, 2015, in Boise, Idaho after a long battle with cancer. His daughters were at his side. Jesse was born on Aug 17th 1939, in Montrose Co. to Jesse T and Ellen O Rash. He Married Letha Runnells Letha Nussbaumer May 17th,1963 at the Church of God in Grandjct, Colorado. Together they had three Girls & numerous grandchildren.
Jesse once described his best accomplishment as becoming a father, “although [he] made an awesome Chili once that was a close second.” A laconic and often even a gruff man, the two things Jesse never lacked were affection and a good punch line. His Daughters,Connie, Candy and Cindy, all remember their father as the one who loved deeply and who encouraged them to try new things-from eating fried snake or bear meat to tubing & shooting a gun at an early age.
Jesse was often seen working on new projects in the driveway during his days off; wearing his hat and smoking moore’s cigarrettes. He was good with his hands and known to make toys, furniture and walking sticks or working on old cars. He never liked to keep still. His hands always had to be doing something.
Jesse will be remembered for his quick wit and generosity. He loved fishing, Hunting, camping, raising birds and building things, but he loved his family most of all.
Jesse is survived by his daughters, Connie (Bill) Hazen of Boise Idaho, Candy (Scott) Huffman of Elgin Oregon, Cindy (Chuck) Prevatt of Oakley Kansas; Numerous Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren. His sister Susan Orecchio & Brother Robert Rash. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Jesse T Rash & Ellen O Rash, Sister Lois Brown, Brothers, Fred, Richard, Gary & Johnny Rash.
Friends and family are invited to attend the scattering of the ashes at The Oregon Coast Aug 16th, 17th & 18th 2016. The scattering will be done on his birthday Aug 17th at his request. The family is grateful for the condolences, and appreciates all your love and support.
