A beautiful angel was presented to this world on September 25,1950, daughter of Mary and John Shine. On February 23, 1972 this blessed angel committed herself to a wonderful husband, Richard Boeninghaus, in the city of life, Manhattan.
He lives, along with five loving children, Dawn Perez (born August 16, 1973), Theresa Malloy (born March 12, 1975), Mary Boeninghaus (born April 30, 1976), Richard Boeninghaus (born May 18, 1977), Anthony Boeninghaus (born August 8, 1985), two brother-in-laws, John and Patrick, five sisters-in-laws, Patricia, Margret, Veronica, Josephine, and Theresa
thirteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Precedent to Mary’s death her sister Catherine passed away from Cancer.

Funeral Notice Detail

At 7:32 am on November 2, 2014 God relieved an angel from her illness. As a Palliative Care Unit patient, Mary Elizabeth Boeninghaus was pronounced dead at South Nassau Community Hospital. Her death was caused by a very rare illness, which was a battle fought for many years.
