Bobby Ray Gaines, Sr. passed away on June 29, 2015. Bobby was born in Heflin, Alabama on July 18, 1943, and was a longtime resident of Ranburne, Alabama. Bobby proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He is survived by his mother, Viola Ledbetter, and his two children, Bobby R. Gaines, Jr. (Beth) and Christy Zwygart (Eric). Bobby has four grandchildren, Abby Gaines, Stanton Zwygart, Hudson Zwygart, and Devin Gaines.
Bobby received the gift of eternal life offered to him by Jesus Christ, and now he rests for eternity in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
Graveside memorial services for Bobby Ray Gaines, Sr. will be held Saturday, July 4, 2015, at 11:00 AM Central Time in the cemetery of Macedonia Baptist Church, 3920 Co Rd 48, Ranburne, Alabama. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
Bobby was also grandfather to a number of foster children through the years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Bobby Ray Gaines, Sr. to Carroll County CASA, 123 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117.
