Alvin Caesar Williams was a gentle, kind, loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin and friend. He loved being with his family. He was married 43 years to his college sweetheart, Shirleen Dooley Williams. They had 2 sons, 1 daughter, and 6 grandchildren.
Alvin was very intelligent. He earned a Bachelor Degree in Urban Studies; a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a Certified California Teacher’s Credential for Adult Education.
He had a 38 years career with the county of Los Angeles as a Public Health Investigator Supervisor. After retirement from L.A
County, he pursued a Teaching Career with the Los Angeles Adult School System.
His favorite pastime was traveling in his motor home and vans, cruising vacations, attending and planning family reunions, reading and watching historical literature and programs, and studying/teaching God’s word.
Alvin’s wife and family miss him deeply. Life isn’t the same without him.
